I walked the other day into buy a helmet received horrible customer service! I was rudely told "they're basically all the same, sort yourself out". I'm new to riding so it would have been nice to get some advice on the differences and what's suit to my style of riding. Really it would have been nice to just not be made to feel like I was an unwanted nuisance. I ended up going to Top Brand and buying $100 helmet vs a $60 one. I'm also now wanting to upgrading to a new bike, but won't be from here.

Have been living and riding in Townsville for 12 years. In this time I have had my bike at various shops. Bike Fix is the only shop I trust my bike with. Bevan gives an honest evaluation on what needs to be done to maintain the bike. He also happily fits any product you bring into the shop. Regardless of brand or discipline. Bevan also rides himself and is an important part of the Townsville cycling community.
Bevan's been fixing my bikes for the past few years and has always been easy to deal with. He has a great wealth of knowledge and has always been keen to help not just with workshop stuff but racing and general riding advice. I always know I'll get the best advice about what I need, not just what he wants to sell me. It doesn't matter if it's mountain bikes, road, triathlon or whatever, nothing's too much trouble.

I personally have had excellent service from Bevan when it comes to bike repairs and servicing or just simple advice. Bevans business is not centred around a specific bike brand, it is purely focused on service and repairs or additionally, custom bespoke bike builds. Bevans attention to detail is second to none, however you can rely on his honest response if help or advice are required on either component upgrades, custom built wheels or simple training tips.
